Why we started

Having worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years, I finally wanted to do it for myself. It’s essentially a one man band but I’m helped along the way by family, friends, machinists, pattern cutters etc and for this reason it’s always referred to as ‘we’. Our name came from the street in Glasgow where I was born and I wanted that to be a focus on our identity.

Our core styles

We aim to design relaxed, seasonless styles which are comfortable for everyone. Loose-fitting items, that pay attention to little details, are important to us. We enjoy sourcing high-quality surplus and deadstock fabrics for minimal waste, along with making everything in our home country, Scotland. Bold camos, colours and fabrics sit alongside traditional core pieces that can be worn and worn. Providing a traditional approach to modern garments we love to wear.

Fabrics & Production

We aim to choose quality fabrics that can run and run or use limited deadstock fabrics. Working on a made to order basis helps us reduce waste and producing locally means we can partner with local businesses and gives us more control over the quality.
